St. Anna day

At Friday, 26th of Juli, we celebrate the day of St. Anna at the old mining village Hütten.At 7 pm, a holy mass will take place at the adjoining St. Anna Chapel. Afterwards you´ll enjoy a concert of the "Knappenmusikkapelle Leogang". Furthermore Prof. Hermann Mayrhofer will lead you through the Mining and Gothikmuseum with it´s own Anna-Collection.

The birth of Jesus is compared with gold and the birth of Maria is in connection with silver – therefore St. Anna is considered as the silver patron of Europe and as one of the most important saints of the old mining industry.
